I tried my hand at making some English muffin toasting bread today, using a cookbook from my Daddy. It is a really easy one to make...no kneading, only one rise, takes 25 minutes to cook. The cornmeal makes it look nifty and rustic. :) It is not a very high-rising loaf (although that could just be my baking!), but it tastes fabulous toasted and spread with some butter!
