Afternoon laundry

I am drying a load of light clothes on my porch this afternoon as usual. Greta is keeping me company and being very noisy in doing so. She's so silly sometimes! I never imagined that she would be so much fun. Seeing her ruffly dresses and sweetly printed jammies on the drying rack makes me happy. Do you see the little pink "fancy pants" with the brown polka dots and lacey edging? Yummy.

I love it! I'm going to have to wash up the antique baby dress I have hanging in my sewing room just so I can hang something precious out to dry too! I will restrain myself from trying it on baby this time tho ;) Daddy wasn't impressed-even though I told him ALL babies wore dresses when this one was made (the pink bow was my downfall) keep these posts coming!

Dear Katya,

I love the beauty of sweet baby clothes on the drying racks. Yes, the "fancy pants" are yummy!

Your dear Greta Rose is the most beautiful thing of all. Oh, what joy babies and children bring. My son, who is now 13, was always the best and sweetest baby, always so happy, smiling and laughing. He is still that way and besides my husband he is the person I like to spend my time with most. You are a wonderful mommy. I am so happy for you. I love baby silliness!

I thought you may enjoy this blog. I am not sure if you knew about Jewels at Eyes of Wonder, but thank the Lord, she is back and has a current post. Here is the link if you would like to visit her.
