We have a new front door! The three of us were able to have a family shopping trip on Friday, and one of the things we picked up was a new door for our main entrance. The one we had before was the one that came with the house when Caleb bought it--you know those hollow-core interior-type doors? Yeah. And it was getting to the point where you had to slam it five times before it would latch (the frame was not going to put up with any more latch adjustments). We decided it was definitely time to have a good, secure door. Saturday was the perfect day for it. It was sunny and a warm, breezy 70 degrees. Lovely for a family project!

~"So do we line the door up with the wall or make it level?" (we chose level)~*~attaching the frame to the wall~

Yay, it's beautiful! That's funny; we too have an "indoor" door for our front door. It's very silly. Who thought of doing such a thing? Some day we'll replace ours as well, and I will send you the pictures!
Oh it's so beautiful!!!
Oh, oh, oh!!!! A door with a BEAUTIFUL WINDOW!!! I love the door Kat, it's so wonderful, and sturdy! :)
Love the man with ear protection, a shop vac (for a clean work space) and a sawzal! Thank you God for a new front door. :) Hope to kiss your tiny blessing at the end of the month on the farm. Auntie D
