A shift

Sewn from a duvet-less duvet cover that I didn't need as such but was such a lovely fabric!
(The embroidery stitches on my new machine make me happy.)
Based on the pattern in this tutorial.

I remember my mom wearing caftans after supper clean-up had been finished--so comfy! Perfect for warm evenings around the house, or with a shawl and socks for cooler evenings. I love that you've used what material you had available; I have a vintage sheet that I've been wondering what to do with, and I think this is the perfect project!
