the 4th

We had a wonderful day. Our morning was spent as a threesome weeding the gardens and doing yardwork. In the evening both of our families and my Grammy came over for supper. We all walked to the lake for fireworks late in the evening.

Dearest Katie,

I was so delighted that you visited me! Thank you so much for all your kind comments. I enjoy your lovely blog so much and looking through and reading your previous posts! Your home is beautiful, so peaceful and serene! I see that you delight in making a beautiful home for Jesus' sake, for your dear husband and your precious baby Greta!!! What a joy it is to be a homekeeper and to serve the Lord Jesus by serving our family and making home a lovely and happy place to be. That is just what you have done. When I visit you I feel so welcome and blessed! Your written entries are so sweet and your photos are beautiful! You inspire me!!!

I think if we lived near each other we would be great friends, too! We are kindred spirits!

I see you like Nourishing Traditions by Sally Fallon! That is my favorite cookbook and what a wealth of good information it has on nourishing, traditional foods! If we could visit we would have tea, cook and bake something good for our men, sew and you could teach me how to make kombucha and do that crazy quilt stitch! I would feel blessed to have you in my home and would be blessed to be in yours!

I am so glad you and your family had a lovely 4th. I see Miss Greta has discovered her sweet little hands! May the Lord bless your Greta! She is blessed to have you for her sweet Momma!

I love all the pretty dishes loaded up in the wagon! The food looks delicious, your home is lovely, the quilts so cozy and Momma and baby so beautiful! Thank you for sharing your home and heart with me!

I hope you have a lovely week!
Blessings,
Paula
