For the first time yesterday morning Greta Rose brought a book over to me, asking if I could read it to her. I was thrilled. She is always so busy that since she was tiny she hasn't wanted to sit still for a whole story. After the ABC book I went and got Flannel Kisses to read to her. I think she recognized it from last winter when I read it to her before naptimes. She loved the pictures and actually lingered over each page, finding the doggie, pointing out the the "pretties". She wanted me to read it again...and again.
In the afternoon she found it again and brought it to Mimi to read to her. She stroked the cozy fireside pictures and said "night-night" at the last pages. For being such a busy and spirited girl she can quiet down to sweet calmness.
...
We drank tea and visited and showed each other some things on the computer.
Uncle Beni and Auntie Olivia even stayed over for the night then!

(Did you see Rosie's laundry basket nest in the kitchen? She loves that spot so much. She goes to it first thing in the morning and looks at stories while I make breakfast for Caleb. If she needs comforting, she'll always cheer up if I cozy her in there with bear and a book.)

Oh, what a delicious banquet of pictures. The corners, the coziness, the persons! The one where Greta Rosie is kissing your face is so very precious. I'm nigh unto slain by that one. And I love Livi with G.R., too. Did Ben take them?

Bunny Bungalow tea! It's all just so dear to me. Thank you for taking time to post. I know I say that a lot, but it's because I know a little of what it takes to do it.

Love from here, where today is men and mom day. And a different kind of perfect.

Love, love, love it!! The row of Gene Stratton-Porter books, the cheery lights, Rosebud's cozy corner, reading, Mimi... SO delicious. I can't wait to see it all in person again and hug you and kiss the little face!!

Such lovely pictures! You and your family are so sweet :) My little one has just started lingering over the pages of his books too! Instead of flipping through the pages as fast as his little hands will allow, he points, and thoughtfully ponders each picture... preciousness!

I'm so glad that you and your little one and your dear ones are doing well :) The Lord bless you!
