happy evening kitchen

The asparagus is our first picking of the spring. A celebratory thing, indeed.
Also here: warmed up tea from my afternoon pot with Mama and two dear siblings and pictures of my evening kitchen.
The pictures don't really do my kitchen justice, to my mind. You don't notice there being so much light; it's cozier. It feels to me like a kitchen in a woodland fairytale cottage.
(I know a few of the last posts have been pictures of my kitchen, but I cannot help it.)

It's the most deliciously cozy evening kitchen I know. And I am something of a cozy kitchen aficionada! I get what you mean about it being better in person, but the pictures still show the earthy and artistic one-of-a-kind personality of the space...or maybe the space-keeper! And I really like the little woodland sprite there in the blue shirt...

Who could mind? It's a beautiful woodland-fairy-ish kitchen! I love it. And Greta's vegetable ambitions. :) And I love tea from a pot; we love to do that here while we study (except we're done with finals now! :))

Oh, and P.S.~
The last picture of Greta, the one of her by the kitchen shelves, just makes my day. Her little diaper is not so little, which makes her shirt a little "puffy" around her little, bare, chub-ly legs!! :) How cute!

I can't believe how big that little girl is getting. All that hair and teeth make her look so much older. What a doll.

Bet you love your new stove. Hope you all are doing well in MN.

Katie, you ring is lovely, is that your wedding band?
I shared the link to the pic with a friend and she commented that it looks like a spoon ring...?

What a cosy, charming kitchen. :)

It's not my wedding ring, but it is a spoon ring. :) The idea was Mama's; she told me about a ring that she had and loved years ago that was made from the end of a silver spoon. I was inspired so I made one for myself! :)

Your kitchen is LOVELY! :) You've decorated it so beautifully - it looks so homey ... cosy and lovely and peaceful! When (God willing!) I get married and start homemaking, I think I'll have to borrow some of your lovely ideas! :)

Just wondering ... can you explain how to make a spoon ring? It looks so lovely. I'd love to know how to make one! :)

Blessings ...
