My buddy

Greta's two front teeth are coming in this week. They cut through yesterday a bit, but she is still in some discomfort. Naptime hasn't been working very well, but she doesn't always feel well enough to just play with her toys either, so she's spent a good deal of time in her favorite place of all: on Mommie's back. She plays with my hair and the straps, and then lays her little head down and snoozes. She gets so excited when I get out the Ergo. :-) Sweet girl.

Precious! Truly sweet. My youngest is now 3 and such a "big boy." But he does love to snuggle, but my arms miss a tiny one...

Oh precious. I hope she feels better soon, poor little Button. She is such a beautiful baby, Katie... though I'm not at all surprised :-)
I see your lights are all working now :-) How fun!

Dear Katie,

Oh, bless sweet Greta Rose's heart! I hope she will be feeling better soon! She is so sweet, just like her loving momma!!!

My son was always a sweet baby too. How is it he is now taller than me and only 13? :) I treasure everyday with him as I know you do with Greta Rose!

Love, Paula

Poor baby girl! I feel for both of you. My little one is going through the same thing right now. Nothing-- not his favorite toys, not his favorite foods, not even bathtime(!) compare with Mommy holding him :) Which of course melts my heart <3 Yet dinner still has to be made and laundry still has to be done... that is when I especially love the ease of the Ergo and how comfy it is for both of us!

Did you use it when Greta Rose was an infant- have you tried the infant insert? With the new one soon to be here, I'm wondering if I should invest in that too!

Yes, I did have the infant insert for Greta. I think it worked well. I wasn't used to using the Ergo, so I didn't use it as much at first as I think I would with a second baby. The insert worked well. As Greta got older I looked forward to being able to have her sit in the Ergo 'cause she wiggled a lot and felt hampered by the sideways position (which makes getting anything done hard when she's in front and doing that!) But it worked very well when she was smaller and would just snooze away in her little cocoon. :) I especially liked it for going on walks and going to the store. I imagine that I would consider it almost *necessary* if I had two sweeties to take anywhere!

Thanks for the info! Me thinks I'll be ordering it soon :) I liked my sling- but I love my Ergo.
