that is such a blessing to have your family close like you do. I dont, we are miles apart, but we cherish every moment when they come to visit. I have started Gretas blanket, it is pretty, and Id love to send it to you. Please e mail me and let me know where I can send it. I lost a little girl 3 years ago, I was 4 months pregnant, and I really would like to give your girlie a blanket in memory of her, and just because your blog shows how much you love her, and I think that is awesome. Please let me do this for you. Thanks, Christina
Christina~ You are so very kind to make a blanket for my Greta. It would be a blessing to me to receive such a gift of love! It is such a painful thing to miscarry a little one. I am so sorry for the loss of your girlie. I will pray that the Lord’s peace and comfort will be yours abundantly. I am so very thankful for each day that I have with my Greta Rose. I have been planning to email you back regarding your lovely idea to send me a blanket for Greta. I just wanted to run it by Caleb first since we’ve tried to be conservative about giving out our address and such. This past weekend flew by quickly, and my man worked many hours finishing a job he had, so we haven’t had time to discuss it yet. I will try to make a point of running over it quickly with him this evening, and I'll get back to you as soon as I can! Peace, Katie
i totally understand. :) you are so brave about blogging. I do have 6 kids, 4 boys and 2 girls. the 18 year old and 14 year old(boy and girl) are not mine, but are in my heart. I have 3 and we have Benjamin(4) together, and Faith who is in heaven. It has gotten much easier, and I adore babies, as well as my husband. I can tell that you truly cherish her as a gift from God, and she will look back at all this, and see how much her mama loved her! Talk to you soon! Christina
how lovely that you can share such a meal and such fellowship. i love looking at the images on your blog - reminds me of when we lived in the country - makes me awfully nostalgic for those days...ah, well, life has it's seasons.
i also love your serving dish. is it a family piece?
