Thank you for your patience while it took me a couple of days to get back to you with our answer. :)
Caleb and I have had a chance to talk about it a bit. Right now I think we would rather not start giving out our address to new bloggie friends. We have a desire to be careful about publicizing where we are. As protector of our home Caleb is endeavoring to be wise and balanced in that area. But also it's a matter of my time. It's not so much a matter of worrying about whether it would be unsafe to give you our address right now, but rather one of general policy for how I'm going to be interacting with the sweet ladies that I meet online. Do I invite emails? Packages? Visits? There are many things I need to be doing and people I could be taking better care of than I do--people who could be encouraged by a letter or a visit (my grandmas, people in our local church, etc.). My man would rather I started now to draw lines of privacy around my home so that I can do what I need to here every day, instead of waking up farther down the road and wondering why other outside things are eating away at my ability to be the wife and mama that I want to be. Starting with my address. And I am completely in agreement.
What makes it hard is thinking of the thoughtfulness of your idea, and the work that has already gone into this blanket. I wish that I didn't have to tell you no now after you've already started it! Do you think you can find another little girl in your circle of aquaintance that could be blessed by a blanket, for yours and my little girls' sakes? I hope you understand.

P.S. If you can't find a home for your blanket, there is a link in my sidebar that gives information about a program that Voice of the Martyrs has to help Christians in Pakistan. They're hoping to send out many packages with blankets and other needed items this Christmas! :-)
