A Budding Bibliophile

Exploring the stack at Mimi and Pa's house

“[B]ooks in the study, books in the drawing room, books in the cloakroom, books (two deep) in the great bookcase on the landing, books in the bedroom, books piled high as [a child’s] shoulder in the cistern attic, books of all kinds…, books readable and unreadable, books suitable for a child and books most emphatically not.”~C.S. Lewis, describing his childhood home

Absolutely precious! My children have all grown up amidst stacks of the finest thoughts I could find. It is good to feed body, mind, and soul. Wonderful quote!

Such a precious and peaceful site -- thank you for sharing the joy and beauty of your sweet, sweet life. Blessings to you! : )

That is a great qoute!

I adore books - we have so many-everywhere - well, there aren't any in the bathroom, at least not permanently stored there!

I love to see little ones exploring books!

Oh, Greta is such a sweetie and is becoming a lover of good books! I began reading to my son, as you do Greta, when he was just a baby and have not stopped yet! He has a love for reading as I do. We love books, what a joy they are! I love the quote from C.S. Lewis.

Love, Paula
