Domestical

Breakfast oatmeal

A happy label for the cookie jar

(As much as I liked the jar plain I needed a wee bit more of a tampering barrier, seeing as the allergies in the house are had by those with little hands.)

But I did make some cookies for the rest of us, and they were delicious!

Goldfinches at the feeder all day

Girlie

My spider plant finally got potted and put in its new home.

Chicken Soup

Mmmm...smells so good.

Lovely, homey photos! Have you read the book "The Gentle Art of Domesticity" by Jane Brocket? Your blog post title reminded me of the book. I think you would enjoy it! Our local library has it, maybe yours does also. Thank you for sharing your wonderful photos. Shirley in Washington

I have not read it; I will have to look for it. Thank you, Shirley!

I love this!

Such lovely little things that make up a family home...you add beauty to your home and to your family with your special way of doing things...

I love to do this too.
