Ripening

We planted a dwarf honeycrisp apple tree on the hill next to our patio early this summer. It has been growing well and has produced one lovely little apple. It is beginning to turn red now. We're just hoping a bird or bug doesn't get to it before it's ripe enough to pick!

What a sweet blessing! :) A dwarf apple tree sounds cute.

I just found your blog, and I love it. I'll definitely have to come back.

Blessings,
Michele :)

AAAAWWWW!! That is one cute apple! Honeycrisp is a fav here too-we planted a full size one this year--alas she has no apples for us!

I'm envisioning (too bad there isn't a word like, en-smelloning) one of your amazing apple pies made with apples from this very tree in years to come. I love the promise in that one little apple...
