Our annual day of great excitement as we discover the new books for next school year. So very thrilling. Mimi comes, and we have tea. It's a party. Bright pictures to look at and adventures to glimpse. Then we're off with our book lists to organize the shelves--for each a specially curated one for their new grade, tantalizing through the summer months as we go on school break and I get the lesson plans together.

How exciting!! We are not as far along as you; I’m still figuring out curriculum for the fall— but I think we’ll have to copy you when our books do come!
