I know I take pictures of making salsa every year, but I can't help it. The colors are so beautiful, and there is such a feeling of luxury and abundance in the piles of chopped sweet peppers, onions and jalapenos so carefully measured out the rest of the year. My dear sister is here helping me with babies and housekeeping things so I can make it. It's amazing how much a person can get done when there's another one of herself there to double the effort! I'm also inspired to post pictures of my garden jewels because
Olivia is now my blogging neighbor at her lovely blog "
Run the Earth and Watch the Sky"; somehow that makes it all the more fun.

::For dinner today we got to use some more of our fresh garden things.
Marinara sauce over griddled garden zucchini with
cucumber salad and Mama's sourdough spelt bread. Oh yum.
My little Hungarian friend on my Paprika tin agrees with me...it was perfect!
((Such a happy red tin.))

It's all so gorgeous! I love looking at pictures like this, the beauty and the glimpse into your day--thank you for taking time to post.:) There isn't much time to be had, I know! Your illustrated, laminated recipe card is too adorable. Creative mamas WILL make stuff, no matter how tired and busy they are...
Katya, I so enjoy the way you and your family make everyday domesticities look like art (like the photo of your stove is beautiful). It's a gift and I think it's why I love visiting your blog.
I love the look of your salsa!
More of that on tap for me today, too.
Thanks for sharing your daily stuff with us. It is so wonderful to see others who love and care for their home and family, too!
