winter days' occupation

Using extra energy on these house-bound days to make something lovely out of my crochet thread collection. I have been having great relaxed fun making each doily up as I go and not bothering with patterns. They'll need to be blocked yet, but are making me happy. Old fashioned and simple.

They are beautiful! I'm so sorry I didn't pay attention when my grandmother tried to teach me to crochet. Crocheted edgings are definitely on my to-do list.

They sure are lovely! I'm especially taken with the granny squares you've been working on :)

Congratulations on the little one! I pray that you and baby, (and Greta and Hubby) are all well- and that the pregnancy gets easier and goes well for you! I've also been keeping your Mama in my prayers. I'm so glad that even though it will take a year, she will be alright! God is good :)

The Lord bless you!

These are beautiful, Katie! I didn't imagine them this pretty when you described them to me over the phone. So glad you're filling these late winter long dark days with beauty.
