::'~

Little girl curls up in the orange chair before supper to watch Daddy play his guitar.
"Daddy, blenkeet!", she says. She wants to be all covered up and cozy.

My morning buddy in her pink stripey dress and her ever-changing zip-it-up sweater on top. Knitting a soft blue kerchief to keep Rosie's head warm during the Spring walks that I am looking forward to in a couple of months. Love these bamboo needles.

What a cosy little girl... :)
Sometimes curling up with a soft blanket (and book! and tea!) simply must be done.

Hey! That looks like the More-with-Less cookbook! One of my favorites. Have you made the blender mayonnaise? I can't keep house without it.

I've been reading your blog for quite a while, now, and enjoy it so much. You're an inspiring homemaker.

Love the 23 weeks, the almost 2 and the time you have gotten to spend with mama and pa recently. Hugs from CO -

That's the More with Less! I cook from that more often than any other cookbook. But I haven't made Pakistani Kima. So thanks fo the recommendation. I liked your link, last post, to the other blog with the Indian bean curry. I like her process approach. If you like Indian flavors, make the dahl in More with Less. We eat that a lot.
And I do have posts/comments on the More with Less on my blog if you want to discuss.

Thanks for the reminder! Pakistani Kima sounds delicious just now. I loved Rae's Rajama post too: the color and spices and feel of cooking!

Looking forward to the spring walks along with you.
