home color
My raspberry twig garland has found a new usefulness...as a drying rack for my herbs!
Greta woke up to find a new silky shawl just for her, and a matching one for baby too!
She was so pleased.
I finished crocheting it last night after she was in bed.
(Made from yarn she picked out and didn't want to part with from the clearance rack at Hobby Lobby. ;))

garden blessings
The first of our summer squash, fried in olive oil for dinner

Little Girl loves to be outside.
As soon as we walk out to the garden she remembers the peas.
"Nummy-num?!"
She's careful to walk on the path stones, as much as chubbily little feet can.
She tries to pick the curlies encircling the wire of the cage.
I pick a pod for her and show her the treasure inside.
She's thrilled.

Happiness
.
A week ago my lovely friend Sarah was married.
The wedding was beautiful
with Christ
and worship
and laughter.

Rosie sat through the whole service, with only a minimal amount of talking!

Our long-time good friend and amazing chef Bill cooked for the reception; we all wished we could have just one more plateful...
