summer fresh




Last afternoon's garden pickings provided inspiration for a tasty supper.
I found a recipe for the cucumber salad at "The Nourishing Gourmet". Delish.

Fresh salsa is always a favorite with my man, and I love it too:
6 tomatoes
1 onion
2 cloves garlic
1/2 a green pepper
jalapeno
salt
splash of lime juice
a few sprigs of cilantro from the garden
